Activities At MONA
MONA Country Manor House is the place where you can be active all day or take it easy, relax and do nothing. For the sports enthusiast MONA Country Manor House tempts you with a tennis court, croquet lawn, jogging track and horse riding. Strolling through the award winning gardens offers a more gentle form of exercise, as does bird watching, platypus spotting and fishing for one of our elusive Bass. A picnic in the grounds can be set up at a location of your desire or simply order your picnic basket and take a stroll.

Horse riding is now offered at MONA Country Manor House. There is 120 acres to ride around. Explore the forest, test out your dressage skills on the equestrian arena, ride out to a picnic at the Shearer's Quarters, or simply enjoy a pleasant trail ride around the property's walking/riding track. Braidwood is a very 'horsey district'. There are polocross, campdrafting, cutting competitions and courses and in 2010 we will have our first Braidwood Rodeo. The Saddle Camp, just ten minutes out of Braidwood NSW, offers a wonderful program for children wishing to learn to ride.

For those who enjoy a spot of tennis the Mona Country Manor House tennis court is situated in a wonderfully protected part of the garden. Bathed in sun most of the day, this all weather tennis court is surrounding by fragrant climbing roses. A couple of old apple trees, next to the rotunda, provide additional shade for the refreshments break.
