Our guests were happier to be in Braidwood than Canberra during the firestorms of 2003. When the smoke hit Braidwood at four in the afternoon it was like midnight and we neede to provide our guests with torches to get about. In the following months it was our pleasure to welcome many Canberra couples and families to stay in luxury surrounded by green pastures.
