Nature lovers don't have to travel far from civilization to enjoy our rare monotremes. MONA is just outside Braidwood on the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales... one hour from Canberra and three hours from Sydney.
Australia is home to the only two monotremes in the world, the Echidna and the platypus. Both are egg laying mammals that suckle their young.
