The Coachhouse Lounge
The central breezeway of the 1903 Couchhouse at Mona Country Manor House has been converted to a lounge/dining area where nestles of comfy chairs and a couch surround the slow combustion fire. A farmhouse dining table and formal dining chairs honour the gourmet meals prepared in the separate kitchen. On Braidwood's wintry nights, it is a delight to curl up in front of the cosy fire with a glass of wine and a good book. The walls of the Coachhouse are so solid you won't know if the wind is howling or the rain is pouring down. The Suite has a partially obscured sitting area all of its own with a beautiful view out the door onto the award winning gardens of Mona Country Manor House.
