Conquer Croquet

Next to the lake and beside the Mona Bridge, the croquet lawn is protected from the southerly winds. It's aspect permits play until those last rays of light. Croquet is a fun game that can be played by two, or two teams. Rather like a game of snooker on a large grass playing field the aim is to gain ground for your own croquet balls while driving the opposition's balls backwards. Mona Country Manor House has some house rules: The most important is if you hit a ball into the lake then you must retrieve it. OK in summer. Not quite so much fun in winter. Your hosts are more than happy to assist with the rules and technique. A gentle activity, and one that can be played with a Pimms or a glass of champagne, as part of your luxury stay at Mona Country Manor House.
