On February 23, last Tuesday, we lost our beautiful 17 hand, 25 year old Quarter Horse, "Prince"

Prince - Our Gentle Quarter Horse

Prince came to us when he was 19 and was Greg's "learn to ride" horse. I remember one day out on a ride, Prince accidentally kicked an empty coke can. As it clamoured its way down the hill in front of us I waited for the reaction...it never came...he just kept his head low and kept on walking.

Since the introduction of horse riding at MONA many guests have enjoyed a calm and quiet ride on this solid and loyal gielding. We will miss him very much.

For the time being, our horse riding acitivities will be restricted to one rider only (accompanied by me), until I can find a replacement for such a wonderful and bombproof horse.
