Kookaburras
At MONA we have a wonderful and healthy population of Kookaburras. In the late Spring and early Summer they can be seen spending the day feeding. Unlike Magpies who stay on the ground to feed, the Kookas sit up in a tree and watch for their food. When they leave their place in the tree they go straight for their target and then promptly return to their watch spot.

There is plenty of food for them at MONA so they aren't interested in the mince meat I have thrown for them on occasions. I even saw one make of with a baby snake!
