Spring Time Saddle Camp Children's Activities

Well it is almost Springtime, although with the recent snow falls it still feels very much like Winter in Braidwood.

With Spring there are lots of things to do in and around Braidwood especially horse riding and equestrian activities. Helen and Rob and the Saddle Camp just ten mintues from Mona Country Manor House offer a vareity of activities each weekend to entertain and educate the children.

Atlanta the PalominoAtlanta the PalominoFollowing shortly after the loss of our beautiful and bomb proof Prince, we have suddenly lost our beautiful Palomino, Atlanta.

Atlanta was very special for us as we bred her and trained her. She was only nine years old.

As our riding insurance requires that I am one of the riders, and since we now only have one riding horse, I am forced to temporarily suspend the horseback riding experiences.

Saddle Camp for Girls

Helen and Rob Faulkner run the Saddle Camp for girls just ten minutes from Braidwood. They offer horse (or pony) riding lessons, mini gymkanas, horse grooming, bushrides and lots of other fun "horsey" activities for girls.
